Michael Tsafas - Managing Partner & CTO

Michael Tsafas is a Managing Partner, Technology of DataAxxis, where he is charged with building the DataAxxis Mapping Container Platform. Before joining DataAxxis, Michael held Executive and Senior technology positions with Jefferies, Bear Stearns, NASDAQ and Prudential Financial. Michael managed budgets in excess of $100mm for global tactical and strategic implementations and held responsibility for all development in equities, derivatives, prime brokerage, plus regulation systems, HFT/Algo Trading and connectivity. Michael is currently engaged in research incorporating FIBO within the Blockchain infrastructure of financial applications.

Before joining DataAxxis, Dan held marketing, strategy, regulatory, advocacy, and product positions at Object Trading, Progress Software, and Radianz, developing electronic trading solutions, regulatory strategies, and thought leadership on cash and derivatives markets, market structure, regulation, and technology. Dan holds 6 patent applications, is a dual-degree University of Pennsylvania graduate, and an active volunteer.
